The Lord Is My Courage
The Lord is My Courage written by K.J. Ramsey is one my favorite books. If you have ever experienced harm caused by “christians” reading this book can be a step towards healing. Ramsey leads one through Psalm 23 with an understanding of present day evil and God’s perfect love. Ramsey addresses the mental, physical, and spiritual aspects that are at work when we are walking through traumatic experiences. She helpfully reminds the reader of God’s goodness and His presence even through the valleys of life.

1 & 2 Timothy For You
1 & 2 Timothy For You by Phillip D. Jensen is a helpful resource for anyone who is wanting to understand Paul’s letters at a deeper level without thumbing through multiple commentaries. I find books in this series to be helpful in my preparation for writing talks and teaching.
